Andrew Cecon is a skilled and compassionate Psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker who brings a client-centered, trauma-informed approach to therapy. With a Master of Social Work (MSW) and over a decade of experience in the mental health field, Andrew offers support to individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

One of Andrew’s unique areas of specialization at Autumnwood Counselling is working with postpartum fathers—a group often overlooked in perinatal mental health care. He provides a supportive, non-judgmental space for dads adjusting to new parenthood, dealing with changes in identity, relationships, and emotional well-being. Andrew helps fathers manage feelings of overwhelm, isolation, or uncertainty, offering strategies that build confidence and resilience in this transformative life stage.

Andrew also has a keen interest in working with addictions and also is a skilled couples therapist and is trained in both Gottman and EFT appraoches.

Andrew’s therapeutic style is warm, down-to-earth, and grounded in evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, IFS, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, DBT, Polyvagal theory and other somatic modalities. He works collaboratively with clients, always honoring their strengths, values, and lived experiences.

He is passionate about helping individuals feel heard, empowered, and capable of creating meaningful change in their lives.

When Andrew is not working he enjoys spending time with his family and is also involved with theatre and acting.

Jessica is a Registered Psychotherapist, and is ready to help you navigate grief, fertility challenges, or postpartum transitions that can feel incredibly isolating. Jessica offers a warm, empathetic space to support you through these deeply personal seasons of life.

With a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, Jessica brings both professional training and heartfelt compassion to her work. Her approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and attachment theory.

Jessica has a special interest in supporting individuals through grief and loss, fertility struggles, and the emotional complexities of the postpartum period. She understands how tender these experiences can be and honours each client’s unique story with care and respect.

Heather is a trauma informed therapist who provides specialized counselling to the perinatal community. Heather has over 18 years of experience providing mental health and counselling services.

Heather has 15 years of experience in healthcare working primarily with individuals and families who have been struggled with health-related anxiety and depression.

Heather completed her Master of Social Work degree at Lakehead University, and is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers. Prior to opening her own practice, Heather worked in a hospital setting for 16 rewarding years, providing counselling and support to patients experiencing health-related anxiety and depression, grief and loss, and palliative care. Heather also has experience working in an Indigenous youth treatment centre substance abuse addiction.

Heather has completed specialized training through through PSI (Postpartum Support International) to provide specialized services to women who are struggling with infertility, postpartum depression, the adoption process, and infant loss. Heather also has extensive experience in palliative care, grief and loss of a loved one, and helping those overcome health-related anxiety and depression.

Heather operates from a client centred, strengths based, and solution focused perspective that incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioural therapy, solution focused counseling, and emotion focused therapy, EMDR, and hypnotherapy.
